What Is Graphic Design For?: Type- Steve Powers.

Brilliantly innovative design by American graffiti artist, Steve Powers- also known as ESPO ("Exterior Surface Painting Outreach").
In this "love letter to the community" Powers brings the every day home utlity of the magnet-coated refridgerator into the outside world to give people a new perspective and reflection on the more than a little bit ordinary every day sight.

I really like this design- once again, bold and simple but thought-provoking and obscure, sure to provoke reaction, as aforementioned, for being such a common and familiar aesthetic. Brilliant on a large scale, like a bill board and brightens up an otherwise dull or plain neighbourhood street. Just my kind of street art.
