One way in which I hope to distinguish the different scales/designs of socks for my Scale/Frame/Format "sock eye chart" design outcome is by looking at the different patterns on socks, and generating my own series of designs so that each sock on the chart is unique- almost as if each pattern represents each individual letterform you would usually find on an eye chart.
