A small bit of image research for my 2D to 3D to 2D final design outcome. Inspired by the era of the Rubik's Cube's invention, I decided to set the scene of a "happy, twisting Rubik's Cube" to be in a 70's/80's inspired disco scene, using metallic colours, mirror balls and bright lights to set the retro dance theme and aesthetic, perhaps creating a playful ode to the era.
