Glenn Jones is an Auckland-based graphic designer and illustrator who I first discovered from the Chicago-based t-shirt printing and design compnay, threadless.com. Since this highly popular and successful sales on threadless, Jones has gone on the produce his own range of t-shirts, as well as other web and print-based designs including:
-laptop skins
-calendars
-iphone wallpapers and
-postcard designs and greeting cards.
I particularly like this food-based designs, which I have posted here...taking an everyday, known object and "flipping it on it's head"- taking an image to a literal meaning, or a fun new aesthetic. Really innovative and fun concepts...really inspiring stuff.
