Design Practice III//B Honey Rum Packaging.

Starting to research honey packaging as I go on to explore the new potentials of my Honey Gift Set brief, whilst brainstorming potential names for my product, and thinking of simply 'B', I came across this beautiful packaging design for Honey- flavoured Rum, 'Honey B', as conceived in the US, which, infact, isn't too disimilar from some of my initial concept designs (hexagonal jars, similar logo/brand concept, etc... back to the drawing board..), I love the bold minimalism of the design in the striking yellow and black colour palette, a great source of inspiration.

For more own designs and concepts, see my Design Practice blog for developments.

“B, The Honey Cacha├ža stinger, co-founded by Formula 1 driver Nelson Piquet Jr. and friends, hit the market this month in Brazil. The visual identity and branding of the rum was created by the U.S. office Pereira & O’Dell and Rio 6D agency was responsible for web and print part of the brand.
“B” is made with sugar from the region of Brazil and refined to create a perfect blend of sweet and citrus, adding honey, lemon and generous doses of sophistication, from the recipe to the packaging. Thus, we transform a simple drink a remarkable ‘sting shot’.
With a clear path to reach consumers in full in other countries, “B ” will arrive later this year to the United States
