Speaking from Experience: Exploded Diagrams.

Whilst considering different compositions and layouts to present my ingredients and finished recipes, the thought suddenly occured to me- exploding diagrams: images which are broken apart to showcase all of the seperate elements with a written description of the objects. I think that this could create a really interesting and sharp design which is both aesthetically pleasing and informative. Could perhaps work quite well as a poster series- with a selection of images or postcards that could be attached to your fridge, stuck up in your kitchen or even printed onto other surfaces- such as napkins or tea towels- all utilising kitchen utensils or space without getting in the way or be at risk of getting damaged, as recipe books so often do.
These deliverables could easily be distributed to the students in their first week at university, or within "survival packs" at their halls of residence when they move in. I'm really exciting about this idea, and I can't wait to start developing it further!
